Toronto’s largest winter music festival is back! Solaris Music Festival is happening inside REBEL on December 26th and 27th with a crazy stacked lineup. Toronto’s own – and one of our favourites – deadmau5 will be closing out Day One of the festival. He has made a big return to the electronic music scene with the brand new Cube 3.0, and its subsequent tour, and the release of two singles in the month of November. deadmau5 is no stranger to the REBEL Main Room so you know the set will be full of classic mau5 tracks and little bit of that testpilot techno goodness. Melodic bass DJ and producer Seven Lions will also be performing on December 26th.
Not only is deadmau5 performing in the Main Room on Day One, he’s bringing mau5trap crew members to NOIR, as well. No Mana, Qrion, Bentley Dean and NoFone will be holding it down in the upper level room of REBEL on December 26th with a mix of house and tech-house.
Trance Family Toronto will be rejoicing on Day Two of Solaris 2019 when Above & Beyond close out the festival. The UK trio, who tour as a duo, return to the REBEL Main Room once more to bring the feels for the Anjunafamily on December 27th. Above & Beyond are one of the biggest trance acts in the world with their weekly radio show Group Therapy, which showcases other popular and upcoming trance acts in the scene. The guys have their own label Anjunabeats, which Day Two act i_o has released music on. i_o will be playing a special after hours set starting at 2AM for Solaris attendees.
Solaris didn’t forget the bassheads! Day Two will have repeat performer Borgore headline NOIR with local acts LUKAV and Khardiac performing alongside him. Borgore is a bass music legend and released his album The Art of Gore back in October. We cannot wait to see you all the headbangers at Day Two!
